Happiness is a sliding scale. There’s ‘find a $20 bill on the ground’ happy. And ‘birth of your first child’ happy. And it all pales in comparison to ‘Henry Winkler caught a trout’ happy because that man exudes pure happiness any time he’s on a trout fishing trip to Idaho and reels in another one.
I get it, I really do. I just went on a yellowfin tuna fishing trip in Venice, Louisiana and it was easily one of the best days I’ve had in the past 10 years. For people who have been truly bitten by the fishing bug there’s nothing in life that sparks as much joy as catching a great fish and Henry Winkler‘s face when holding a trout is proof of that.
This morning, Henry Winkler shared this pic of him holding a rainbow trout:

Yesterday he showed off this beautiful brown trout, both times wearing what appears to be his lucky Katz’s Delicatessen hat, one of NYC’s finest delis:

Henry Winkler has been sharing photos from the river for several days in a row. I’m not 100% certain that he’s in Idaho but the pictures sure look that way. Especially when compared to his previous trout fishing trips to Idaho. Back in 2018, Henry spent a few days slaying it on the water and was even featured on the local news after buzz grew around how much joy trout fishing brought him.
