Nine Inch Nails have unleashed “As Alive As You Need Me to Be,” a new song that serves as the first single from their upcoming soundtrack to the film TRON: Ares.

“As Alive As You Need Me to Be” was premiered in the newly released trailer for TRON: Ares and is also available to stream in a standalone visualizer (both embedded below).
NIN’s full soundtrack for TRON: Ares spans a total of 24 songs and will be released on September 19th (pre-orders are now ongoing). Although NIN members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have become two of the most acclaimed film composers of the past 15 years—earning two Academy Awards and numerous other accolades—TRON: Ares marks the first film score officially credited to Nine Inch Nails. TRON: Ares the film is set to hit theaters on October 10th.
