… Weeks After Tragic Passing

Hulk Hogan‘s new NYC bar is still moving forward despite his tragic passing last month … and his son, Nick, made sure to stop by and check in on the progress while in town for WWE SummerSlam last weekend.
Hulk’s only son hit the “Slam” establishment … which is located across the street from Madison Square Garden, where the Hulkster famously made his WWE debut in 1979.
Nick was all smiles alongside biz partner Rich Rosen … so it’s safe to say he’s happy with the product.
Rosen recently told Page Six that the 9,000-square-foot bar will stay open in honor of the legend … saying “Hulk poured his heart into this project.”
“He shaped the spirit of what Slam was meant to be,” Rosen said. “A place where fans from around the world could gather at the very corner where his legend began, to celebrate his legacy and the unforgettable moments that defined his career.”
The bar is slated to open later this year.
After checking the place out, Nick made his way to New Jersey to catch SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium where he was shown on the jumbotron both nights … receiving a warm welcome from the crowd.
He was also in attendance for “Monday Night Raw” in Detroit just a few days earlier … with the wrestling org. doing the customary 10-bell salute for the WWE Hall of Famer.
We broke the story, Hulk passed away last month in his Florida home after going into cardiac arrest.
Medical records stated he died from acute myocardial infarction… commonly known as a heart attack. The 71-year-old had a history of atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes an irregular heartbeat.
Hulk was also diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, though details surrounding the cancer are unclear.
With Slam’s open just a few months away, you can bet Hulkamaniacs are ready to flock to the new spot!
