Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott have welcomed a baby girl named Halo.
Scott shared the news on Thursday via Instagram, where she posted a video of her pregnancy and their daughter’s birth. She also revealed she was born on Dec. 14.
“I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face,” Scott wrote. “I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon!”
Halo is Cannon and Scott’s second child together. Their first, Zen, died last year at only 5 months old from brain cancer. Scott remembered Zen in her post as well, writing, “Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day. I will hold onto this memory forever.”
With the birth of Halo, Cannon now has fathered a total of 13 children, including Zen. In November, the host/actor and Abby De La Rosa welcomed his 12th baby into the world, a girl named Zeppelin. Cannon and De La Rosa share a total of three children, including twins Zion and Zillion, who are 16 months old.
