A new service will soon let fans call anime magical girls to give them wake-up, goodnight, as well as “I love you” calls, among many other options.

Magical girls is one of the most well-known genres in the anime community, as it often features strong, iconic, and likeable main characters and interesting conflicts.

A lot of anime fans may be familiar with titles such as Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura, but the Pretty Cure franchise is also one that’s still relevant to this day.

With Pretty Cure starting its newest arc this year, which brought five new magical girls in You and Idol Pretty Cure, the franchise is set to launch a service that lets its users receive various calls from the characters.

You can receive good night and “I love you” calls from anime magical girls

This call service is part of an app called Moshimoshi! Pretty Cure Phone, available on both the App Store and Play Store starting from September 9, 2025. According to Sora News, the app essentially lets you choose different characters as well as “moods” for the calls.

This is what the interface of the app looks like.

And before anything else, these calls are not AI-generated, as the voice lines are recorded by the actual voice actresses of the characters.

One of the options available is “I want to be praised,” which will have the character tell you how proud she is of you, while “I want to be cheered up” will have her reassure you, saying she’ll always be by your side. Other options include “I want to be encouraged” along with good morning and good night calls.

Not only these, but there’s apparently a “fan service” option as well, which will lead the character to say “Daisuki da yo.” This can mean that they either love you or like you a lot.

According to the app’s description, the wakeup calls are set to be “updated monthly.” So, fans will be able to expect more variations.

It’s worth noting that while the app is free to download, the majority of the calls require you to spend 330 yen (US$2.30) for a subscription fee to gain full access to calls from one character.

Meanwhile, those who want to take it a step further can opt for the higher tier Motto! Moshimoshi Course that costs 660 yen a month (US$4.40) to get access to all the characters as well as a cafe mini game.
