Native James has joined forces with Professor Green and rapper Double S for a re-worked rock version of his song ‘BLOCK (RR)’.
With the grime/metal crossover artist set to support letlive. at their farewell shows in London this summer, it’s a fresh take on the original version of the track released in 2023.
With new rock and metal instrumentation, it also brings a collaboration with rapper and mental health activist Professor Green.
On the track, Native has shared:
“BLOCK (RR) is about all different types of people coming from a certain area, and making it a community where different cultures and people all live amongst each other, sharing and making the place where they come from unique…. I made this chorus a few years ago in my friend’s bedroom, so for this to now be a song with iconic artists on it is humbling.”
