NASCAR Driver Hailie Deegan in Two-Piece Workout Gear Says "Here We Go"

Hailie Deegan, a trailblazing NASCAR stock car racer, continues to break barriers and stay in top physical shape. As the first female racer to win a West Series race in 2018 and 2019, she constantly hones her skills on and off the track. Last month, she shared photos from a practice session on Instagram, captioning them, “It’s been awhile since I’ve raced a @canamoffroad but It’s time to get back in at @nitrocross with @yokohamatire 🙌. Practice day today so here we go! @monsterenergy.”

Racing is one of the main ways Deegan stays in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself on the track. Deegan posted this video of herself driving. She captioned it, “Practice ✅ This @vivaseltzer @fordperformance car was feeling pretty good in practice. Made some good changes headed into qualifying in the morning! @monsterenergy.”

Deegan spends a lot of time outside. One thing she likes to do is go for hikes. Deegan shared these photos on Instagram of herself hiking in Moab, Utah. Piedmont states that hiking has a lot of benefits. “Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise that builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis. Hiking can help you manage your weight. It is a joint-friendly form of exercise that can keep arthritis sufferers more limber and mobile.”

Since she’s a professional athlete, Deegan has to eat healthy. One way she does so is by cooking. Deegan shared this video on Instagram of herself doing a cooking demonstration. Harvard Health states that cooking has a lot of health benefits. “The more people cook at home, the healthier their diet, the fewer calories they consume, and the less likely they are to be obese or develop type 2 diabetes. A growing body of scientific evidence supports teaching patients how to cook meals at home as an effective medical intervention for improving diet quality, weight loss, and diabetes prevention.”

Deegan makes sure to workout on a regular basis. One way she does so is by using the elliptical. She shared this video on Instagram of herself using one at her house. Deegan captioned the post, “If you hate leaving your kid at home, but still want to get a good workout in, look no further 😂. With the new @nordictrack elliptical with @ifit technology you can get the best of both worlds.”

“Both skiing and snowboarding demand a high level of physical engagement, making them excellent full-body workouts. Skiing engages various muscle groups such as the core, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf muscles, promoting strength, endurance, and flexibility. Snowboarding, with its emphasis on balance and coordination, activates the core, legs, and upper body muscles,” says Physio Fitness.
