Sabrina Carpenter is one of the hottest musicians in the industry right now as the only artist with 2 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and 3 songs in the top 25.

The former Disney Channel star has been one of the biggest breakout stars over the past year-ish especially after she opened for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour and it’s impossible for most people to scroll on TikTok for more than 5 minutes without seeing her clips but her aunt just confirmed that she isn’t the most famous person in the family. Well, sort of.

Nancy Cartwright is the legendary voice actor behind the voice of Bart Simpson, Ralph Wiggum, Maggie Simpson, and many others. She has been voicing Bart Simpson on The Simpsons since 1989 and has amassed an estimated net worth of $82 million along the way, making her one of the most successful voice actors in history. For context, Sabrina Carpenter‘s estimated net worth is $12 million. Anyway, Nancy Cartwright just confirmed on TikTok and Instagram that she is Sabrina’s aunt and it broke some brains:

In the video, Nancy Cartwright is responding a question from a fan asking if she’s Sabrina’s aunt. She goes on to say “Yeah, absolutely. Isn’t that amazing? When you find out that somebody that maybe you’ve known me for a little while… Doing this little 10 year old boy (Bart) for like 35 some years, and for some of you way less than that… Find out that I’m related to this superstar. She’s pretty amazing.

Fans of both Sabrina Carpenter and Nancy Cartwright were pretty amazed by this revelation. The top comment on Instagram reads “I thought the other way around 😂 ‘wow! Sabrina carpenter is related to a famous actress!’” Over on TikTok, the top comment reads “Sabrina Carpenter is related to Bart Simpson, Ay, Caramba!” Another person requested from Nancy that we all get to hear Bart Simpson sing ‘Espresso’ at some point.

Hilariously, the co-creator of Phineas & Ferb Dan Povenmire wrote “wait, I’ve worked with both of you and I don’t actually remember if I knew this.” So it’s not just fans who are blown away, this is a guy who worked with Sabrina at Disney and with Nancy presumably at some point over the years as he claims.

Hollywood is a small, small town for some people, isn’t it?
