My Chemical Romance’s ‘Teenagers’ continues to be a smash hit across the world almost 17 years on from its release.
And that is proven by its latest milestone in the UK.
The track is now certified 2x Platinum according to BPI, which is the equivalent of 1.2 MILLION sales.
Big numbers.
The track is taken from the band’s classic album ‘The Black Parade’, which itself is certified 3x Platinum. For albums, that is the equivalent of 900,000 sales.
It becomes their second multi-platinum track in the UK, joining ‘Welcome To The Black Parade’, which is also 2x Platinum.
It’s the band’s most-played track on Spotify, with 680 million streams.
