The mum, who was an influencer with over 40,000 social media followers, reportedly had 30ml of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) injected into each buttock.

PMMA is not approved by the FDA in the US as it’s deemed unsafe, and BBL procedures already carry high risk when performed safely.

She fell ill the next day and was taken to hospital by her husband.

Aline had a high fever but told by medical staff the threshold was “normal” and was prescribed an antipyretic to combat it.

However, the 33-year-old model’s condition continued to worsen after the procedure in Goiânia, south west of the capital, at her usual, trusted clinic.

She was hospitalised in a serious condition in Brasília on June 29 after experiencing severe abdominal pain and dizzy spells.

Aline eventually suffered a heart attack and passed away on Tuesday July, 10 days after the PMMA procedure.

She will be buried at the Campo da Esperança cemetery in Brasília on July 4.

Her mother said she had undergone plastic surgeries to her eyes, nose and mouth at the same clinic and “everything had gone well.”

She added: “Because she had done so many operations there, she completely trusted the clinic owner.

Woman grateful for new surgeon after botched surgery

“My daughter was healthy, she was fine. I want justice, justice has to be done.”

The clinic owner was arrested by cops on June 3 as it was allegedly not registered to carry out such a procedure.

The investigation into her death is ongoing.

This comes after a mum claimed she was butchered by a cosmetic surgeon and “left to rot” with oozing fist-sized holes in her tummy.

When Victoria Michaels woke from the tummy tuck procedure, she said she was left in “excruciating pain” and the surgeon was nowhere to be seen.

Victoria had hoped to wake up with her dream figure – but instead, she was confronted with a “horrendous” mutilated body.

The 30-year-old has slammed her doctor saying the woman “almost killed (her)” and gave her the “worst treatment ever” during what should have been a routine tummy tuck operation.

She told The Sun: “The surgeon went on vacation and left while I was in that condition.

“It really was hard to go through, and it looked horrendous. When I brought that to their attention they just didn’t care.”

The surgery, carried out in the US, left Victoria with thick scarring both down the middle and across the bottom of her stomach.

What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?

IT’S important to do your research if you’re thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.

It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.

Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.

No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.

If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.

Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.

Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.
