MRS Hinch has admitted she was ‘selfish’ with her son’s autism diagnosis.
Despite this, the cleanfluencer, 34, claimed that she has since discovered a ‘fire in her belly’, as she shared never seen before pictures of her son Ronnie, four.
To celebrate World Autism Awareness Day, mum-of-two Sophie Hinchliffe took to social media, where she posts under the username @mrshinchhome, to open up about her son Ronnie’s diagnosis.
Sharing a series of beautiful pictures and videos with her young son on Instagram, she penned: “2nd April, World Autism Awareness Day. I’ll never forget the exact message I randomly landed on from one of my followers back in 2020, when Ron was just 15 months old.”
Sophie then revealed that one of her fans had previously messaged her and said: “Mrs Hinch, welcome to the world of autism. I hope you don’t mind me sending you this message, but I believe your Ronnie is autistic.”
To this, Sophie added: “I knew next to nothing about autism at the time.
“I was selfish in my little understanding. Ronnie was my first baby and I knew no different.
“From that day on, I could not forget her words.”
I will fight every single day for the rest of my life to make sure you are loved like you deserve

The influencer expressed that she began researching to expand her knowledge on the disorder, as she continued: “I started researching online and reading everything I could find about autism.
“The more I read, the more I discovered a fire in my belly that I’ve never felt before in my life. That fire has never left me.
“As the months passed and my knowledge on autism grew… I knew.
“And from that point on, my little Ronnie changed our lives all over again, more than he’ll ever know.
“Our beautiful, passionate, clever, polite, determined and brave little Ronnie.
“You are loved beyond words and I will fight every single day for the rest of my life to make sure you are loved like you deserve, understood and most importantly accepted for the incredible little darling you are. Always.”
The post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 142,000 likes and over 1,000 comments in just one hour.

“Keep doing what you’re doing, every day is a day for learning but you two together, can do absolutely anything!”

Another added: “You’re amazing Soph and it’s lovely to see this being highlighted!
“We have so many meetings about my little boy but now on the very long waiting list to get answers, I just wish there was more help for our kids as it’s not fair they get put to the bottom of the pile!”
A third commented: “Ronnie will flourish with having wonderful parents, family and friends to support him.
“Having worked with children who are autistic for 20 years this makes a world of difference. Go Ronnie, you are beautiful, keep being you!”
Meanwhile, someone else opened up and admitted: “You could have chosen to never share about Ron, people don’t understand the bravery it takes to do so.

“Not bravery in the sense of shame, but bravery in the sense of spreading real life and pure acceptance.
“Having a platform comes with constant judgement and trolling, and I’ve only experienced it 1% of the level you have. But the fact you CHOSE to share, I just went to say THANK YOU.
“Yes, I initially followed you years ago, your cleaning and organising did change people’s mental state and gave adults purpose, but what you share with us now, really will be making movements around the world in the right direction creating acceptance for our children and their children.
“My little Fred was born on the same day as Ronnie and I watched Ron and so many times thought, ‘Omg, he is the same as my Fred’. I didn’t know Freddie was Autistic at the time, certainly didn’t know Ron was, but it brought me more comfort than you’ll know.
“Thank you for being my friend and not even knowing it.”
