YouTube mega star Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has opened up tours of the Beast Games Season 2 set, but they’ll be exclusive to charitable donors who have $100k to spare.
Over the years, there have been plenty of attempts to take internet celebrities and make them television stars. A number of these have fallen flat, with shows being cancelled after one series, while others have been a little more successful.
With his whopping 400 million subscribers on YouTube, MrBeast’s foray into the world of television with Beast Games couldn’t really fail. The show, which was broadcast on Amazon Prime Video, received plenty of positive reviews from viewers and critics. However, there were controversies around the working conditions for competitors.
The show was renewed by Prime Video for a second season, and Donaldson has put out the call for the “strongest” and “smartest” contestants around.
MrBeast will show you around Beast Games set for $100k
If you want an early look at what the YouTube superstar has up his sleeve for Season 2, well, he’s offering tours of the set in exchange for a $100k donation to his Beast Philanthropy charity.
The package is exclusive to the first 40 donors of the $100k target and includes the aforementioned tour of the set, time with the MrBeast team, Beast-branded merchandise, and gifts.
“Want a tour of the city for Beast Games season 2 and all the massive sets we’re building?? I’m going to personally show around people that donate $100,000 to Beast Philanthropy! I have some big charity projects I want to fund so I think it’s a win/win,” the YouTuber posted on X (formerly Twitter).
The website FAQs do say that a “personal meet-and-greet with MrBeast” is not guaranteed, as there may be “scheduling and production constraints.”
Successful donors are able to take two guests with them on the tour. But, if you don’t have 100k to spare, there may be other opportunities in the future.
“This exclusive tour experience is reserved specifically for the first 40 eligible $100,000 donations. However, any amount makes a difference – and we may have future opportunities available for other donation tiers,” another FAQ says.
