Did you know Morgan Wallen has a sister? Well, he has three, and as it would turn out, two of them can really sing!
We already knew Ashlyne has pipes but Mikaela is the latest Wallen sister to put her vocals on display.
The entire family could break into country music if they wanted to. It is something they have done together for decades.
Who is Mikaela Wallen?
Mikaela is the youngest of three biological children born to Leslie and Tommy Wallen. They also have a third sister, Lacey, who was adopted their parents in 2021.
The Wallen family grew up in the small town of Sneedville, Tennessee. Music was a big part of their life.
Leslie, the matriarch, is a teacher who always found creative ways to incorporate music into her teachings. Tommy, the patriarch, served as a pastor and introduced his children to spiritual music at a young age.
“We grew up in church singing hymns and stuff, and learning how to harmonize with each other and sing three-part harmony,” Morgan Wallen recalled in an interview with Billboard.
Morgan often credits his family with his career. They never held him back or made him feel crazy. They were always right there to encourage him along the way. Even when he found himself in the middle of controversy time and time again.
Morgan Wallen’s sisters can sing!
Morgan Wallen tapped his middle sister to sing background vocals on his song ‘Outlook.’ They got in the booth together and put all of those years of harmony on a record.
However, we had not previously heard Mikaela sing because she never felt brave enough until very recently.
The acoustics were too good to pass up but she might delete the video later. I hope not!
Her cover of ‘House Of The Rising Sun’ by The Animals gained more than 10,000 views on TikTok in less than 24 hours and for good reason. She sounds great!
As you could imagine, country music fans immediately flooded her comment section with a request for collaboration. They want her to sing with her brother or to drop a solo album.
“You and your brother should do a song together,” said Virginia Frazier.
“Okay so Morgan featuring Mikaela song next orrr?” asked Shae.
“The Wallen family is just as beautiful as it is talented! We needa album from ya girllll!” commented Alexis Caron.
“Girlllllll I respect you for not wanting the spot light, but it’s your time to shine,” chimed Chelsey.
I think we can all agree that Mikaela Wallen should not delete the video. Morgan’s little sister is legit!
