While her fans love when she releases new music, others think her songs are alluding to her relationship with country star Morgan Wallen.

Rumors that the two country stars were writing songs about each other began in 2023 when Megan Moroney released Tennessee Orange.
Fans believed the song to be about country singer and The Voice alum Morgan Wallen since he is a Tennessee Volunteers fan.
Megan also confirmed that she was wearing Morgan’s shirt in the song’s promo, but stopped short of confirming their relationship.
Later, in 2024, Megan released the song No Caller ID, depicting Megan getting late-night calls from an ex whose number is blocked.

Morgan released Lies, Lies, Lies shortly after, and fans are convinced it’s a reply to No Caller ID.
In the song, Morgan sings about heartbreak as he begs for forgiveness from an ex-lover.

Neither artist has confirmed if their songs are really about each other.
Upon the release of Tennessee Orange, Megan said, “All my songs are about people.”
She continued, “Tennessee Orange is a very nice song, but if I told people who it’s about, then they would ask me who Sleep on My Side is about. I can’t tell you that because it’s not a nice song!”
Megan later added, “[What] Tennessee Orange taught me is that I never want to hint at who my songs are about, ever again!”

Who have the country singers dated in the past?
Megan has kept her dating life private.
However, rumors spread that she was in a relationship with Morgan Wallen following the release of Tennessee Orange and Morgan’s 2023 song, Tenessee Fan.
Neither Megan nor Morgan confirmed their relationship and Megan has not been romantically linked to anyone else since.
Morgan, on the other hand, has been linked to two other famous women.
He began dating and was even engaged to influencer KT Smith in 2017 and they were even engaged.
However, they called off the engagement as KT accused him of infidelity.
Their relationship continued on and off and the two even welcomed a son together in 2020, until they officially split in 2021.
