Soon-to-be mom Kris Bernal recently flaunted her curves, including her growing baby bump, in a daring black one-piece swimsuit.
In her Instagram post, Bernal mused on the “important role” that women play, saying she realized it now more that ever as she goes through motherhood.
“Now more than ever, I’ve realized how important is the role of women in our lives,” she said. “As a soon-to-be-mom, there’s a sense of renewal and hope, making it a beautiful time to reflect while starting a new chapter in my life and realizing more of God’s purpose to me as a woman. We are amazing. Our bodies are divine.”
Bernal and her husband Perry Choi announced her pregnancy last March 3 through a series of poster. She also spoke about her first quarter morning sickness, as well as some remarkable changes in her body.
“I still can’t believe I’m growing a human inside me. My waistline began to expand. My breasts continue to grow and change. I’ve also observed that my armpits and knees have darkened. White spots and stretch marks have started to appear,” she noticed.
Despite the drastic physical and emotional changes that she is going though, Bernal said that she is not complaining as she knows that “it’s all going to be worth it.”
“I want to take this opportunity to uplift all mothers and appreciate them for trying their best to nurture their families. Here’s a little reminder that all of your sacrifices never go unnoticed,” she said.
“Kudos to all moms out there, you all inspire me to become a better version of myself everyday. Happy International Women’s Day! Let’s keep slaying and inspiring each and every woman! Let’s celebrate YOU every day!” she added. EDV
