General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that as fans continue to mourn the loss of the late Johnny Wactor, his mother, Scarlett Wactor, is looking for a court order to request that Apple unlock her son’s electronics.
This includes his iPhone, as well as his Apple desktop and laptop. As per Us Weekly, this past Friday, June 20, Scarlett requested the court issue an order that would have the techy company allow her access to Johnny’s devices.
Scarlett is the administrator of her son’s estate and wants to review these items to determine if there is information on Johnny’s computers or phone regarding financials or financial assets.
According to Scarlett, she has talked to Apple, but they won’t help her unless they have a court order to do so.
She’s stated the company informed her the order needs to relay, “Apple is ordered by the court to assist in the recovery of [Johnny’s] personal data from their accounts, which may contain third-party, personally identifiable information or data.”
It’s been just over a year since Johnny was shot in the early hours of May 25, 2024, in L.A.
The actor was leaving a shift as a bartender at an establishment with a co-worker when he saw some criminals trying to steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle.
Johnny was only 37 years old at the time of his passing. Scarlett has stated that attempting to unlock her son’s devices and working with Apple on this has been ‘frustrating’.
While she’s looking for accounts belonging to her son, she also wants to retrieve precious videos and photos from her son’s devices, too.
The last thing she wants is memories from her son’s life erased. In June 2024, Scarlett filed a petition to be named the administrator of Johnny’s estate, and the judge approved this request, giving the late actor’s mom control of his bills and finances.
General Hospital spoilers note that, sadly, sometimes life can imitate art as Johnny’s character on the ABC soap passed away in September 2022 thanks to The Hook, a.k.a. Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Still, much like Johnny, his legacy lives on in the wonderful memories and positive impact he had in the land of Port Charles.
