On Monday night, New York’s MisterWives stopped by the Brooklyn Bowl for a benefit concert to celebrate World Mental Health day in support of Backline, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that connects music industry professionals with mental health and wellness resources. In the week ahead of the gathering – which showcased MisterWives’ latest album, SUPERBLOOM and featured special guest Joan – Backline matched all donations 1:1 up to $10,000.

During the performance, MisterWives frontwoman Mandy Lee and her bandmates: Etienne Bowler (drums), William Hehir (bass), Marc Campbell (guitar), and Mike Murphy (saxophone), shared their soul-stirring album instilling feelings of courage, open-heartedness and most importantly connection through community, to a sold-out crowd.
