Miss May I Team Up With Currents For New Version Of ‘Architect’

Miss May I Announce Anniversary Release Of ‘Apologies Are For The Weak'

Following the announcement of the 15th anniversary reissue of their classic album ‘Apologies Are For The Weak’, Miss May I have joined forces with Currents for a new version of ‘Architect’.

It’s the second taste we’ve been given of the forthcoming record, following the release of album closer ‘Forgive And Forget’, featuring singer Ryan Kirby and bassist Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary from Fit For A King.

Speaking on the new version of ‘Architect’ and teaming up with Currents, the band has shared:

“This was one of the first songs we ever wrote as a band and it’s very special to us.

“It predates this album and can be found on our first demos. Having [singer] Brian [Wille] on this record is very special because we feel like Currents are our little brothers having taken them out on some of their first tours around the world and watching them grow into the juggernauts they are today. Brian specifically requested to do this track as it was one of his favorites when it was originally released. We are so happy to have him put his spin on it and join us for this celebration.”

The anniversary release of ‘Apologies Are For The Weak’ will feature a cameo on every track, including members of The Word Alive, August Burns Red, Our Last Night, Silent Planet, and more.

Set to drop on August 23, the album’s reissue will be the first release via the band’s new label home at Solid State Records.

To coincide with the release, the band have created a throwback website, which will feel familiar to anyone who spent their days scouring MySpace back in 2009. Check it out here.
