MILLIE Bobby Brown has shocked fans by revealing her real name.
That’s right, Millie‘s name is actually a stage name, with her real name a little different from how we all know it – and how it’s listed in her film and TV credits.
Sharing her real name and the reason she changed it, Millie, 21, also admitted that she had “never told anyone” her real full moniker before.
We all know and love her as Millie Bobby Brown, and while her initials are the same, her real name is actually Millie Bonnie Brown.
“My middle name is Bonnie. No Bobby, it’s Millie Bonnie Brown. I’ve never told anyone that,” she shared in a new interview.
Sharing the reason why she changed her name, Millie told Buzzfeed that she did it for “sh*ts and giggles” before fans seemingly unveiled an additional reason.
But some fans reckon Millie changed her middle name for a more sentimental reason.
Some think that she changed her middle name to Bobby in order to pay homage to her father, Robert Brown.
Fans were taken aback by the revelation, with many totally stunned – and some even claiming her real name is better than her stage name.
Commenting underneath a Buzzfeed video of Millie’s confession, one person said: “OMGG this is insane to hear after following her for so long.”
“Bonnie sounds so much prettier than Bobby,” said a second.
A third added: “millie bonnie bonjovi is epic hahaha.”
‘WASN’T ON MY BINGO CARD’
“Wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card,” penned a fourth.
“What on earth,” exclaimed a fifth.
While a sixth said: “I personally would love the ‘Millie Bobby Bonnie Brown Bongiovi’ combination tho.”
And a seventh wrote: “Millie Bonnie Bonjiovi sounds better anyway.”
Millie changing her middle name isn’t the only name change she’s had.
After getting married to Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi in May 2024, the Stranger Things star revealed that she’d taken on her husband’s last name.
Sharing a snap of a label on a blackboard that said “Millie Bobby Brown BONGIOVI”, the actress announced her new name to the world.
This comes after Millie hit back at cruel trolls who criticized her appearance.
CRUEL TROLLS
After stepping out at her movie premiere last week, some online trolls suggested the 21-year-old British-born star had aged prematurely.
“Had to double-check if she turned 21 or 40,” cruelly said one person on X.
In a post on Instagram after seeing the backlash she was getting, Millie uploaded a post where she fumed: “Disillusioned people can’t handle seeing a girl become a woman on her terms, not theirs.
“I refuse to apologise for growing up.
“I refuse to make myself smaller to fit the unrealistic expectations of people who can’t handle seeing a girl become a woman.
“I will not be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself.”
