Miley Cyrus went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night to perform “More to Lose” in anticipation of her new album Something Beautiful, dropping May 30th. Watch the full performance below.
With the backing of a full back and string section, Cyrus delivered an impassioned rendition of the ballad. Cyrus recently shared that she is no longer touring due in part to the strain it puts on her vocal cords, but her she brought her full abilities to Kimmel on Thursday.
Cyrus also sat down for an extended interview with Kimmel, where she discussed the difference between Nickelodeon gays and Disney gays, her teenage jobs, being honored as a Disney Legend, the making of Something Beautiful, and more.

“More to Lose” is Cyrus’ latest offering from Something Beautiful, her ninth studio album that she said was partly inspired by Pink Floyd’s The Wall. The album is available for pre-order now. While she won’t be touring any time soon, fans can watch the visual album in theaters for one night only in the US and Canada in select theaters on June 12th. Find more information here.
The last time Cyrus was on Kimmel was during her Plastic Hearts era in 2020. She sang the single “Prisoner” from that album during the performance.
