HBO has revealed some of the main cast members of season three of The White Lotus, the hit anthology comedy-drama series that follows the guests and staff of luxury hotels across the world.
Season one of The White Lotus, which premiered in 2021 and became an instant hit for HBO, took place in Hawaii, while season two took place in Italy.
The upcoming third season will be set in Thailand and is set to begin production in February. While specific plot details have not been revealed, the third season will feature an all-new cast at a different White Lotus resort.
On Friday, January 5, it was reported that Michelle Monaghan (True Detective), Parker Posey (Lost in Space), Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Jason Issacs (Harry Potter — Lucius Malfoy!), Dom Hetrakul (Bangkok Dangerous) and Tayme Thapthimthong, have joined the cast.

Natasha Rothwell, who played Belinda Lindsey the spa manager in season one of The White Lotus, will also feature in season three.
“We are pleased to partner with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to execute Mike’s creative vision and showcase all that the beautiful country of Thailand has to offer, as the next group of guests check in to the White Lotus,” said Janet Graham Borba, executive vice president of production for HBO and MAX said in a statement.
Created by actor and writer Mike White (who famously played Ned Schneebly in School of Rock) has received 23 Emmy nominations across its two seasons. Season 1 won for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series while season 2 was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series.
The White Lotus has also featured numerous stars across its two seasons such as Sydney Sweeney, F. Murray Abraham, Jennifer Coolidge, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Steve Zahn, Molly Shannon, Connie Britton, Alexandra Daddario, Muray Bartlett, Theo James, Haley Lu Richardson, and more.
At this time, season three of The White Lotus does not have an official release date. S1 premiered in July and S2 premiered in late October, so there’s no real telling when HBO is aiming to release season 3. Given that production is beginning in February, though, there’s a chance the latest batch of episodes debut later this year.
The first two seasons of The White Lotus are currently streaming on MAX.
