Prior to crashing out of Hollywood due to charges of reckless assault in the third degree and a charge of harassment as a violation, Jonathan Majors was considered to one of the business’ “next big things.” Just a few months before his fall from grace, in fact, Majors and Michael B. Jordan gave an interview saying they wanted to be their generation’s Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

Those dreams unfortunately all came crashing down, however, as Jonathan Majors was dropped by a bevy of studios, including Marvel, in the wake of his legal trouble.

2025 could be the year that Majors begins to build a comeback, though, as the trailer for his bodybuilding drama Magazine Dreams was released earlier this year and dated to hit theaters on March 21.

Another way back into the limelight for Majors could be his friendship with Michael B. Jordan — the pair starred together in Creed III, which Jordan also directed — who stood by Majors in a recent interview with GQ, even indicating he’d worth with him again.

“Jordan has mostly steered clear of commenting on Majors’s case. Today, sitting on the edge of the pool table, he solemnly recalls that it was a ‘tough situation’ to watch unfold. ‘But he’s doing great, just got engaged. I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy,’ Jordan says.” [via GQ]

When asked if he would want to work with Majors again, Jordan answered: “Yes. Yes.”

While Majors will next be seen in Magazine Dreams, Jordan’s next role is starring in Ryan Coogler’s vampire action thriller Sinners alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller, Li Jun Li, and Delroy Lindo, which hits theaters on April 18. You can check out the official trailer for Sinners below.
