McDonald’s finally has a release date and more information about the long-awaited return of its Snack Wraps.
After discontinuing the Snack Wraps back in 2016, fans of the McDonald’s treat have flooded their emails and social media pages demanding its return.
The company revealed back in December 2024 how those requests helped influence its decision to bring them back, and confirmed in April that they’d return before October 2025.
McDonald’s released the Snack Wrap’s main ingredient, McCrispy Strips, on May 5, 2025, and now we have a release date for the wrap itself as well as what it’ll consist of.
Snack Wraps finally have a release date
After months of waiting, McDonald’s has finally revealed that the Snack Wraps will begin rolling out to stores on July 10, 2025, and they will be available in two different flavors: spicy and ranch.
The spicy variant, of course, brings the same habanero kick from the Spicy McCrispy Sandwich as it uses the same sauce. Ranch is described as “smooth, rich, and irresistibly savory” and is a nod to the original 2016 snack wraps.
Each one features a single McCrispy Strip, lettuce, cheese, and whichever sauce your heart desires.
With the return of the Snack Wraps, McDonald’s says it will be a permanent menu item as long as people are interested in having it available at the restaurant.
They also revealed that it will be available a la carte, meaning you’ll be able to buy one at a time, or as a combo meal that includes two snack wraps, fries, and a drink of your choice. Prices are unknown at the time of writing, and they’ll likely vary depending on your exact location.
McDonald’s has also released a Snack Wrap Files website, where they provide a sneak peek at some of the thousands of requests they’ve received from “The Fandom” and even a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of its commercial.
