McDonald’s has updated fans on when to expect the long-awaited return of Snack Wraps in the US, and it’s happening soon.
After years of waiting, McDonald’s confirmed back in December 2024 that snack wraps would be returning to the menu in the United States before the end of 2025 after years of fans asking for their return.
The company removed them – and the accompanying chicken selects tenders – back in 2016 due to complaints about long prep times, but it has kept them on the menu in other countries ever since.
On Tuesday, April 15, McDonald’s narrowed down the release window even more by revealing yet another date in a post on X.
Snack Wraps are coming before October
McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director Guillaume Huin shared a date in a post on his X account, indirectly confirming that they’re coming back before October 2025.
“Patience, snack wraps are coming back 0x.14.2025,” he said in the post.
Given that the only number crossed out is the second number of the month, it’s safe to say that McDonald’s will launch the new snack wraps on September 14, 2025 at the absolute latest. Any later, and it would be the tenth month of the year… meaning the first number in his post would be wrong.
Alongside the new snack wraps, McDonald’s will launch a McCrispy chicken strip to use inside the meal when they finally return to the United States.
Shortly after the news broke, fans flocked to the comments on posts to share their thoughts about the narrowed-down release window.
“Better later than never. But can we shoot for June??” one user asked.
A second replied: “Snack Wraps before GTA6.”
“Light at the end of the tunnel,” commented a third.
We’ll have to wait to see what month McDonald’s decides to bring back the Snack Wraps, but it’s clear that fans are excited that the launch is nearer than ever. In the meantime, fans can check out the Minecraft meal for both adults and kids alike.
