Martin Lawrence is once again reassuring concerned fans that he’s healthy and happy, insisting he’s “all good”.

Lawrence and his long-time co-star Will Smith have embarked on an exhausting international promotional tour for their new film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, the fourth installment in their hugely successful “Bad Boys” franchise.

The superstar duo recently participated in a SiriusXM Town Hall special, hosted by Sway Calloway along with co-hosts Heather B and Tracy G on Shade 45, to promote their new film.

At one point, Sway mentioned that the middle-aged actors were looking well. That’s when Lawrence jumped in to dispel rumors of his waning health.

“Thank you for saying that we look good and that I look good because there’s a rumor out there that I had a stroke, man,” the comedy legend told Sway.

“That’s totally not true,” he continued. “So I just want to clear that up, but I thank everybody for the concern and the love and just thank you, but Marty’s all good.”

Meanwhile, Will Smith couldn’t help but poke fun at his long-time friend. “There’s also a rumor, and I wasn’t gonna bring it up, that you a clone,” Smith teased. “That was the one that I heard.”

That’s AI,” Lawrence shot back.

Fans Weigh in on Stroke Rumors Surrounding Martin Lawrence

Despite Martin Lawrence denying the stroke rumors and Smith’s humor, many fans aren’t convinced. Upon seeing the footage on X (formerly Twitter), some onlookers insisted the 59-year-old actor wasn’t well.

“Martin used to be more animated than this, prayers up man”, one fan wrote. “I know father time undefeated & people age…But I’ve watched this man a million hours & he’s obviously having some issues – god bless Marty-Mar,” another concerned fan added.

“Damn my boy Marty Mar face is full of either wheat or medication. Body is inflamed by at least 40 lbs,” a third armchair expert chimed in.

Meanwhile, another fan had a more straight-line theory of Lawrence’s low energy while doing press for the film. “Marty Mart old…doing action movies…running around. Bruh just be tired,” they wrote.

Concerns for Lawrence’s health have been mounting for months.

During his reunion with former Martin co-stars at the Emmys, Lawrence’s appearance garnered attention. While presenting the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, he struggled to read the teleprompter, leading to pauses and slurred speech. This raised concerns about his well-being.

In recent months, as more interviews have aired, many have noted that Will Smith often leads in answering questions, while Lawrence responds more deliberately. At the movie’s premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Smith also assisted Lawrence in reaching his mark.
