To celebrate the 25th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza will become the Olivia Benson Plaza for 48 hours.
Mariska Hargitay, who plays Detective Olivia Benson on the show, will be honored with a special immersive exhibit dedicated to the world of SVU. Though the show’s subject matter can be dark and dismal, the event will be a celebration of its lead actress, its beloved longevity, and its New York attitude.
The celebration goes down on March 14th and 15th, and will feature several Law & Order-inspired experiences. There’ll be a “Benson & Co.” coffee truck featuring custom-made tributes to SVU characters and Law & Order latte art, a fan shop where you can purchase SVU-themed friendship bracelets, and a show-themed trivia game. The event is free and runs
