In between her holiday hibernation, Mariah Carey made a quick appearance on her son Rocky’s Twitch stream, properly embarrassing him in a hilarious clip.
Moroccan “Rocky” Carey, 13, was in the middle of a Twitch stream when his twin sister, Monroe, snuck into his room. Shortly thereafter, their mom, the Queen of Christmas, appeared, with the stream’s chat blowing up, and Rocky’s friends saying hello to her.
“Y’all need to get out now, just everybody get out,” Rocky said somewhat calmly at first. Monroe and Mariah surrounded Rocky’s desk while holding their dogs up, and Rocky started to crack.

“They’re saying ‘Hi Mariah, I love you’–oh my God,” Rocky grimaced, with his head in his hands, as the chat overflowed with Lambs trying to get her attention. His friends on the stream were more amused, saying hello to the Songbird Supreme (“Hi Mrs. Carey!” one said), and Rocky then blew his cool. “Get out of my room!”
See? Even if you’re Mariah Carey, you can still mortify your teenage son from time to time.
In other news, Mariah Carey has been nominated to join Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, alongside Soundgarden, Oasis, OutKast, Phish, The White Stripes, and many more. The final class will be announced later this month.
April 12th marks the 20th anniversary of The Emancipation of Mimi, Carey’s 10th studio album. She celebrated the album with a short Vegas residency which closed out in February.
