Despite the fact that her character ultimately wound up stealing the entire movie, Margot Robbie actually once believed that she wasn’t going to be “noticed” starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 comedy-drama The Wolf of Wall Street.
“I know this sounds silly now knowing how big the movie became. But at the time I was like, ‘No one’s gonna notice me in this film. It doesn’t matter what I do in this film because they’re gonna focus on Leo and I’ll just slip under the radar,” Robbie said at a recent BAFTA event. [via Mirror]
In the decade since her career-making turn in The Wolf of Wall Street, Robbie has not only gone on to become an A-list, Academy Award-nominated actress but she’s now one of the most powerful people in *all* of Hollywood.
Robbie will next be seen starring alongside Brad Pitt in Damien Chazelle’s Babylon, which hits theaters on December 23. Next year, she’ll star as Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie and also has a role in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City.

If you find yourself in the mood, The Wolf of Wall Street is currently streaming on Paramount+. As for the scenes featuring just Robbie, I’m sure you can find other ways to relive those, too.
