Marcela Mar is heating up social media with her latest swimsuit snap. The Columbian actress flaunts her famous figure in one of her latest posts, wearing an animal print swimsuit while holding her husband’s hand during a day at the beach in Columbia. “With you everything is richer,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. Marcela, a single mom, understands the importance of resilience. “These were not easy days, but I had the strength to do it and today I feel very proud of myself,” she told Revista Alo. “We can’t change the circumstances but the attitude can.”
Marcela is a big proponent of therapy. She explained to Revista Alo that it has to do with “assuming one’s traumas.” She even does therapy to prepare for roles. “I am in favor of doing therapy beforehand and of bringing these types of things to light, processing them,” she said.
Marcela takes care of herself from the inside out. “Reinvention is something that comes from within. It is like a spiritual quest. I feel that to the extent that one questions oneself, is restless and curious, one renews oneself. It is like a synergy that is created; by studying and researching you are renewing yourself,” she told Revista Alo in another interview.
Marcela is a yogi! She has been posing for over a decade. One of her favorite types of the practice? Bikram. “start my Bikram yoga classes!! very good!!!” she tweeted in 2010.
