Maggie’s new album ‘Suckerpunch’ is just around the corner.
Maggie Lindemann has shared another piece of her upcoming full-length album ‘Suckerpunch’, and it’s more vulnerability and volatility from her.
It’s called ‘self sabotage’ and is a softly pulsating, existential, honest piece of classic downtrodden rock.
It shows off more of who Maggie is whilst also showing just how far her musical prowess stretches.
“The song is about not allowing yourself to receive the love that you deserve. I crave a little bit of action in my life and when things are going too good, I tend to do something to test the pliancy of the positiveness.”
It fits perfectly into the mood of ‘Suckerpunch’ which she describes as, “the journey from being upset to being angry to being hopeful – a hopefulness I want listeners to know exists for them too.”
Here it is:
‘Suckerpunch’ will be released on September 16.
It will also feature ‘you’re not special’:
‘break me!’:
And ‘how could you do this to me?’:
