MADONNA and Kylie Minogue sent fans wild as they appeared on stage together for the first time ever.
Not only have pop icons Madonna, 65, and Kylie, 55, never shared a stage but they’ve also never been photographed together during their successful careers.
Which is why concert-goers in Los Angeles last night couldn’t believe their luck when Madonna introduced the pop princess to the stage during her Celebration tour.
They performed acoustic versions of I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor and Kylie’s own hit Can’t Get You Out of MY Head.
Rushing to social media to comment on the iconic moment, one fan wrote: “No better way to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay than these 2 Queens linking up to perform this classic anthem. This is history.”
And another said: “Kylie came out and did a duet with Madonna. What the f***.”
While it’s the first time they’ve duetted, Kylie and Madonna have always been supportive of each other.
In 2000 Madonna wore a ‘Kylie’ branded T-shirt when she performed at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
And when Madonna was rushed to hospital with a severe bacterial infection last year, Kylie sent her well-wishes.
She told E! News: “I feel for her. I feel for everyone touring, but especially women touring.
“I think it’s just that bit more work for us and it is so taxing on you as a whole. I will definitely be getting my ticket and going to see Madonna when she gets back on the road.”
It’s been an exciting few weeks for Kylie after she received the Global Icon award at the Brits.
She also celebrated an eye-watering seven-figure pay day.
New accounts filed by Kylie’s UK parent firm Darenote Limited this week reveal that the her company is valued at £9.6m for 2023 – up from £8.1m in 2022.
