Madison LeCroy, star of Bravo’s Southern Charm, has amassed a significant social media following, where she shares glimpses into her life, including her recent family vacation to the Maldives. Posting beach photos with her partner, LeCroy captioned them, “Salty air, sunkissed hair, and endless love 🌊💙 Living our best life in paradise at the @ritzcarltonmaldives.” LeCroy’s lifestyle combines fitness with fun activities like swimming, golf, and exercise routines that keep her in top shape. From indulging in healthy meals like shellfish to sharing her workout routines, including rowing and cycling, she emphasizes balance in her fitness and wellness habits, showing how she enjoys staying active even while on vacation.
In her Instagram post, LeCroy is seen swimming in the ocean. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming is very beneficial. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.“
LeCroy enjoys eating shellfish. She shared these photos on Instagram of herself enjoying crab legs at a restaurant. The AANMC states that shellfish are very healthy. “Shellfish contain omega-3 fatty acids, which help to promote cardiovascular health. In one study, men who consumed more than 7 ounces of shellfish per week were 59% less likely to die of a heart attack than men who consumed less than 1.74 ounces (50 grams) per week.”
LeCroy likes to play golf to stay in shape. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself on the course. LeCroy shared this video of herself taking a swing, captioning it, “Golf wives club.” In this carousel post from a vacation she took, she included a photo of herself on the course. Better Health states that golf is very beneficial. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”
LeCroy shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is using a rowing machine. The Cleveland Clinic states that using a rowing machine is very beneficial. “Like running or a session on an elliptical, rowing is a full-body workout. But unlike those activities, you don’t have to stand to do it. That means less pressure on your legs and more work for your upper body.”
In the previous Instagram video, LeCroy is seen on an exercise bike. Penn State PRO Wellness states that this is very beneficial. “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes. If you use a bicycle with handles, you’ll also be able to work your upper body muscles, including your biceps, triceps, and shoulders.”
