Prime Video has released the trailer for its next romantic drama, based on J.P. Monninger’s novel, out August 20 on the streamer.

“I am almost done with this itinerary,” Heather (Madelyn Cline) says after she and her friends sprint to make their train, to which they say “I told you we’re down for whatever” and “we don’t need a plan.”

In The Map That Leads To You, Cline’s Heather goes on a post-grad Europe trip with her best friends, played by Sofia Wylie and Madison Thompson, On the train, she meets mysterious and charming stranger Jack (KJ Apa), who challenges her need to have a plan for everything. The film also stars Orlando Norman, and Josh Lucas.

Heather’s friends notice the guy “following us out of the train station,” who they later learn that Heather kissed without telling them.

Jack is following a journal that his grandfather kept, “trying to go to every place he wrote about to just see what happens.”

“That kind of stresses me out,” Heather responds to Jack’s spontaneous behavior “I just like to know what happens next.”

But she goes with him after he asks her what would happen if she doesn’t take her flight home. Cue a montage of what looks like the Running of the Bulls in Spain, the Lavender Fields in France and a beautiful bookstore.
