M.I.A. has shared the latest single from her forthcoming album MATA. The new song is called “Beep,” and you can give it a listen below. She has also revealed the artwork for her new LP, which does not yet have a release date. Scroll down to check it out.
“Beep” follows M.I.A.’s recent singles “Popular” (produced by Boaz van de Beats and Diplo) and “The One.” The latter—produced by Rex Kudo and T-Minus—was released in conjunction with M.I.A.’s announcement of MATA. Last year, she issued “Babylon,” which coincided with the auction of her 2010 Vicki Leekx mixtape as an NFT.
MATA will mark M.I.A.’s first album since 2016’s AIM. Along with announcing MATA in May, M.I.A. revealed that she is now a born-again Christian in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
