Ludwig says he’ll never cover drama again despite making millions from it

Popular streamer Ludwig Ahgren was shocked after discovering how much money his Mogul Mail YouTube channel has made over the years, but despite this, he doesn’t intend to go back to it.

During his April 22 livestream, Ludwig was asked by a viewer about the highest amount of money the channel had earned in one month through ads.

Looking into his analytics to find out, the 29-year-old decided to check Mogul Mail’s lifetime revenue. When he saw that the channel had made $826,100.67, he was surprised.

“I actually don’t know this. I’ve never looked at this before. But lifetime, this channel’s revenue… $826,000. Maybe I go back to the drama well, man. Maybe I go back. What if we go back to the drama, man?

“‘You had sponsors, too.’ And I had sponsors! You know, the crazy thing about Mogul Mail is didn’t share this revenue with anyone. Like the main channel, I share the revenue – I have four editors, the broader revenue goes to my company, but there was no editors on Mogul Mail.”

Ludwig doesn’t want to go back to drama on YouTube

Despite the impressive earnings, Ludwig has no intention of going back to covering streamer and content creator drama. He expressed concerns about the ethical implications of drama-focused content and its potential to incite negativity towards individuals.

“‘Will you post on Mogul Mail again?’ No, I don’t think so. I think the drama landscape has changed quite a bit on YouTube in a way that I don’t like.

“I don’t like it so much because there is sometimes fun drama, but I do think drama frogs have become more powerful. Scarier, to be honest. They drive fear into my heart. So, you know, I’m doing quite well. We’re chilling. It’s a bit of money to lose, but that’s okay. I don’t need that money.”

The last video on the Mogul Mail channel was posted in January 2025, although that video was about problems at his Offbrand production business.

In a previous video, in July 2024, Ludwig explained that he no longer enjoyed the content he was making on the Mogul Mail channel, which ultimately spelled its demise.
