Working for the first time with Piolo Pascual in “Flower Of Evil” has made Lovi Poe realize that she wanted more of the actor in future projects.
Playing wife to Pascual in the series is such a welcoming experience that Poe wanted to do some more projects with him.
“Of course I pray that I get to work with Piolo again. I feel that there’s so much more that we can do. Yeah, I would love to do a movie with him. We’ve talked about it before, kahit nga mag-MMK kami (even if we do MMK),” Poe said during the live press conference for the series’ finale on Tuesday.
“We’ve been doing drama for a while and you guys don’t know or realize how funny he is behind the camera. That’s something that I want to see more of him,” she shared.
Pascual’s energy, according to Poe, is “contagious” that “when you’re there on set you share the same energy.”
While Poe believes that their directors Darnel Joy Villaflor Richard Ibasco Arellano, were the captains of the ship, Piolo is the one “that’s holding the group together.”
“So, when the leader gives his best, does not even complain, you have no choice but to actually feel the same kasi (because) you have to emulate such character din,” she said.
With this, Poe realized why Piolo has always been on top.
“He’s always been Piolo Pascual for a reason not just because he’s an amazing actor but because of his character as a person,” she said.
In the finale episode, Daniel (Piolo Pascual) and Iris (Lovi Poe) are putting their lives on the line for the sake of keeping their family together as they attempt to expose Jacob’s (Paulo Avelino) dark secrets. The couple is closer than ever in proving Daniel’s innocence and having Jacob arrested after uncovering that Jacob, not Daniel, is the real accomplice of Daniel’s father, the notorious serial killer Abel (Gardo Versoza).
The killer finale of “Flower of Evil” will be streamed on Viu, iWantTFC, and IPTV (USA and Canada only) today, October 6, and tomorrow October 7 at 8 P.M. and on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and Jeepney TV on Saturday, October 8, and Sunday, October 9, at 9 P.M.
