Summer is upon us at last. Which means lots of time for us to lazily float around in the pool, drink in hand. But have you ever lounged around in the pool inside a legendary cinematic giant kaiju? This is merely the latest of several cool Mothra items from Middle of Beyond. Among the other items is a now sold-out Mothra bath rug, Mothra hoodies, a Mothra sleep shirt, and the coolest of all, a Mothra reversible jacket. Along with all their Mothra merch, Middle of Beyond also has a ton of items based on another infamous Japanese kaiju, Godzilla. That so-called King of the Monsters is a big drama queen who is always trying to upstage Mothra. Mothra finally appeared in the modern cinematic Monsterverse in last year’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. This was after being teased for two straight movies in a row. Will Mothra get another chance in the next Monsterverse film, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova? We certainly hope so. And maybe it’s time Mothra got their own Monsterverse movie too.
