LØLØ has shared another immensely authentic tune, with new breakup single ‘Poser’.
The track is a massively direct lyrical offering, with the refrain “You never loved me you fucking poser” standing out amongst them.
As well as the vulnerable, diaristic lyricism, there’s also a catchy sonic edge to the tune, which gives it a real depth of feeling.
‘Poser’ follows the release of other recent LØLØ tracks ‘*snow in berlin*’, ‘omg’, ‘faceplant’, ‘hot girls in hell’ and another track inspired by cutting off a toxic ex, ‘2 of us’,

Speaking about her latest single and part of the inspiration behind it, LØLØ has shared:
“‘Poser’ is about someone who really got me good, who really truly made me believe they loved me, when it later became clear to me, they simply couldn’t have.
“Being a girl who enjoys rocking from time to time, I’ve sadly gotten called a poser many times by internet bullies.
“I thought the word was actually really pretty though, so I wrote it down in my notes after seeing some comments on my page.
“Since then, I always thought it would be cool to use the word poser relating to love. This ones for all the real posers out there.”
LØLØ wrapped-up last year with a UK and Europe tour supporting Rock Sound 25 Icons Against The Current.
What’s more, in November she completed a 31-date North American tour with an immense lineup that included Boys Like Girls, State Champs, 3OH!3, The Summer Set, and Four Years Strong.
Here’s hoping she brought her stuffed animal and 100 hair scrunchies along with her – just a couple of the items she listed as part of her Tour Essentials for Rock Sound.
