Logan Paul wants to sell record-breaking Pikachu Illustrator Pokemon card worth $5M

Logan Paul says he’s considering selling his record-breaking Pikachu Illustrator Card that he purchased for over $5,000,000.

It’s no secret that YouTuber Logan Paul has been a fan of the Pokemon TCG for years, and he owns some of the most expensive cards in the world.

He wore a diamond-encrusted Base Set Charizard to his boxing match against Floyd Mayweather worth well over $1M and made his WWE WrestleMania debut wearing a Pikachu Illustrator that holds the record for the world’s most-expensive Pokemon card.

That record-breaking card may hit the market yet again as Logan Paul revealed he’s considering selling it to another collector.

Logan Paul may sell record-breaking Pokemon card

“I am considering selling my one of one PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator, the best Pokemon card in the world. I bought it for $5,275,000. I set the Guinness World Record for the most expensive Pokemon card in history. I walked out with it on my Wrestlemania debut and I’m thinking about letting it go to the right person,” he said.

“If that buyer is watching, reach out to me. Pokemon is the highest-grossing franchise in the world and just like me, there’s someone out there with a lot of money and wants to be the best. Who wants to be the very best, like no one ever was.”

The Pikachu Illustrator card was released back in 1998 as a prize for those who won a CoroCoro Comic contest that offered fans the chance to illustrate their own Pokemon card.

Only 39 of the cards exist, and Logan Paul has the only card that has been graded as a PSA 10, meaning it’s in perfect condition.

Shortly after buying it, Logan revealed the lengths he went to to acquire the card. After five months of negotiation, he and his team flew to Dubai to make the purchase. It wasn’t an all-cash deal, however, as Logan traded a PSA 9 Pikachu Illustrator to the seller on top of $4,000,000 in cash.
