Logan Henderson chatted about Big Time Rush and their 2025 “In Real Life” Worldwide Tour.

Aside from Henderson, Big Time Rush consists of James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt, and Carlos PenaVega.

American author and speaker John C. Maxwell once said: “Dreams don’t work unless you do.” This quote applies to Logan Henderson of Big Time Rush.

‘In Real Life’ Worldwide Tour

On the 2025 headlining “In Real Life” Worldwide tour, Henderson said, “This tour is one of my favorite shows that we have ever put on.”

“I love playing our new music, and while I didn’t think we could top our previous tour, somehow, we managed to make this our biggest and best tour yet,” he acknowledged.

Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman

Hendson complimented opening acts Katelyn Tarver and Stephen Kramer Glickman (who played Jo and Gustavo on the Nickelodeon show “Big Time Rush” respectively), both of which were able to warm up the stage for the pop group.

“Going into it, I didn’t know what it was going to be like,” Henderson admitted.

“Stephen Kramer Glickman is such a great talent; he is amazing at the piano, and he has such a wonderful voice,” Henderson said.

“Katelyn Tarver is such a sweetheart,” he noted. “I really just respect her for her writing ability and her vulnerability as an artist; I am really happy they are both on tour with us.”

Favorite Big Time Rush songs to perform live

Henderson listed “This is Our Someday,” “Blow Your Speakers,” “No Idea,” as well as “Untouchable” as his favorite Big Time Rush tunes to perform live.

“I wrote ‘Untouchable’ years ago with Kendall [Schmidt], and we do it on our B-stage. ‘This is Our Someday’ is a classic, and I just love ‘No Idea’ musically. Also, ‘Blow Your Speakers’ is a fun song to dance to,” he explained.

“Throughout the whole show, we have some great songs,” Henderson exclaimed, prior to noting that they perform all of the songs that that sang on their popular Nickelodeon show.

Future plans — More solo music in the works

In the future, Henderson hopes to release more of his solo music. “I’ve been writing for Big Time Rush, so I haven’t had any time to write for myself,” he admitted.

“I really want to transport our fans back to a time that was just very easy, simple, and fun. I want them to pick up on the reminiscent parts of our show for the TV show, I want them to go in just having fun,” he elaborated.

“There so much to look at during show — there are a lot of songs — but it’s two hours of complete fun, and that’s why people keep on coming back… they watch the show and there is always something to see, and there is always something different going on,” Henderson explained.

“Having this variety really transports people back to a really nostalgic time for Big Time Rush, and that has been a big part of the success for this tour,” he added.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Henderson revealed, “Living in the present moment and being grateful for each little moment that comes up.”

“I am just having a lot of fun with it,” he admitted.

Henderson recalled ‘Big Time Rush on Ice’

In December of 2024, as Digital Journal reported, Big Time Rush hosted a special one-night only experience titled “Big Time Rush on Ice” for their fans at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

“I think I did a pretty good job skating,” Henderson said with a sweet laugh.

Success

On his definition of the word success, Henderson said, “Success means finding happiness and joy doing the things that I love.”

“It’s also having good relationships, good conversations, good wine,  and traveling,” he added.

Big Time Rush fans

For the loyal Big Time Rush fans, Henderson remarked, “I am absolutely blown away beyond belief by all the love and the tenacity that the fans have for this group.”

“It has been such a joy to play for them each night and watch them have them so much fun at our shows,” he noted.

“In a way, we’ve grown up with our fans and we share a very special bond. This is just going to be the most kick-ass summer ever,” he concluded.
