October Ends have shared a new track, and it’s got a bit of everything.
Post-hardcore brute force, speckles of EDM hedonism, dystopian atmospheres and plenty of drama, it’s a sharp dive into a universe that feels closer and closer to being a reality by the day.
It’s also an absolute bruiser.
Guitarist Michael Charlton had this to say:
“This is one of the heaviest songs we’ve ever written. It was inspired by the soundtrack for the video game Cyberpunk 2077; we loved the industrial, dark sounding techno tracks from the game, especially the way they build hype and tension before an EDM style drop.”
And vocalist Nick Mavromatis had this to add:
“The vocals are very pissed off. During this challenging time in the world it has felt to us like we’ve forgotten who we truly are. This song is about knowing that we can move on, but it’s something we need to do together as one.”
