Linkin Park, The Warning and Green Day are among the nominees at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, set to take place September 10 in New York.
Linkin Park’s ‘Friendly Fire’, from recent greatest hits collection ‘Papercuts’, is nominated for Best Alternative alongside Hozier, Bleachers, Imagine Dragons, Benson Boone and Teddy Swims.
Meanwhile Green Day are up for the Best Rock award with ‘Dilemma’ from their No.1 album ‘Saviors’. They will compete against U2, Coldplay, Kings Of Leon, Lenny Kravitz and Bon Jovi.
Elsewhere, The Warning’s ‘Automatic Sun’ is nominated for MTV Push Performance Of The Year. The ‘Push’ series celebrates a different breakthrough artist each month with Chappell Roan and Glorilla also nominated.
