Lil Lotus has released a cover of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ classic track, and added his own incredible emotional outpouring to it.
Lil Lotus has a lot of love for the mid-00’s period of music that the scene produced, and has always let that love shine brightly.
One such example is here in this cover of a classic.
That classic is ‘Face Down’, the crushing, cathartic storytelling of trying to leave a toxic environment told by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
The cover, performed live and acoustic from Cherry Soda Studios, shows off Lotus’ incredible vocal range as well the emotional outpouring that he injects into his music.
It’s a combination of now and then, and a celebration of the songwriting brilliance this scene is built on.
