Several months back, the internet exploded when it discovered that pop superstar Lana Del Rey was seemingly dating a random man nobody had heard of.
Further research revealed that the man is named Jeremy Dufrene, an airboat captain in Louisiana.
Now, it appears that the two are set to marry, as multipe reports claim that Del Rey (real name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant) and Dufrene stopped by the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court and picked up a marriage license.

TMZ reports that the license has not yet been signed and returned, so the pair have not yet wed. But it sure seems like things are headed in that direction.
Interestingly enough, the news comes shortly after Del Rey appeared to deny a romantic relationship with Dufrene. So she seemingly wants to keep things as low-key as possible.

But this all tracks. Just last year the “Summertime Sadness” singer was seen working in a random Waffle House in Alabama, far away from the stage and the bright lights.
As it turns out, Del Rey and her friends were just hanging out at the popular chain, as one does.
“We were on our third hour, and the servers asked, ‘Do you guys want shirts?’” Del Rey said of the incident. “Hell yeah! We were thrilled.”
Then the manager stepped in.
“This guy, a regular, comes in every day and orders two things, so they were like, ‘Just go get it for him!’ I brought him a Coke. No ice. And an empty cup,” Del Rey said, adding that the empty cup was for chewing tobacco,” Del Rey said of the moment.
