Lake Malice have shared their reflective new single, ‘Eternal December’.
The new offering explores themes of homesickness and seasonal depression, and is inspired by the experience of vocalist Alice Guala moving countries and having to reconnect with new people and her surroundings.
Explaining the new track, Guala and her Lake Malice partner and guitarist Blake Cornwall have shared:
“We wrote this song in the wintery months when the rain never stopped and we barely saw the sun. It feels like something everyone can relate to on some level.
“Our aim has always been to avoid limitations on where we take our music and we’re extremely proud of this multilayered composition which incorporates elements of EDM, hyperpop and metalcore.”

The new release follows the band’s ‘Post-Genesis’ EP, which arrived in October.
It also arrives ahead of the band’s first-ever UK headline tour, which kicks off next week and will see the pair play a total of 12 dates across the country.
