LADY Gaga wowed tonight as she attended the UK premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux in London.
She reunited with her Joker co-star Joaquin Phoenix, 49, in Leicester Square and they shared a warm hug on the red carpet.
All eyes were on Gaga, 38, who takes over as Harley Quinn from actress Margot Robbie as the iconic DC comic book character.
The Poker Face superstar led the glamour in a statement red dress and a matching jacket that featured huge puff sleeves.
She opted for a dark bob and a fringe tinted with red hues, and complimented the Harley Quinn inspired look with dramatic make-up, including bold blue eyeshadow and silver teardrops.
She was joined on the carpet by a string of beauties including Strictly contestant Tasha Ghouri, who stunned in a black corset gown, and transgender model Munroe Bergdorf in red.
The film, a musical psycholigical thriller, sees Gaga starring as the Joker’s twisted sidekick alongside Phoenix, who reprises his role as Arthur Fleck, aka the Joker.
As well as starring in the film, which comes out next month, Gaga has written and produced 13 songs which will run alongside the movie.
Track titles, which include That’s Life, Gonna Build A Mountain and Oh, When The Saints, hint at a gloomy record to tie in with her big-screen character.
A source said: “She has been secretly working on both her seventh album and her Joker album for over a year.
“Everything has been on a need-to-know basis so not even everyone in her team knew what was coming. Gaga wanted to do something big for Joker and was inspired by Prince‘s 1989 Batman album.
“She has secretly filmed a promotional film for the project too, which happened when she was in Paris for the Olympics this summer.”
Directed by Todd Phillips, the Joker 2 is a musical and will include 15 numbers.
Not much is known about the plot, but fans went wild when the trailer for Joker 2 was released in April 2024.
It confirms the Joker and and Quinn become lovers.
It began by showing Arthur Fleck in an insane asylum in the fictional Gotham City based on DC comics.
He was then taken out of his room and walked passed other inmates singing, one of them being Dr. Harleen Quinzel, also known as Harley Quinn.
The two appear to hatch a plan to break out of the asylum.
In different clips, Joaquin is seen in his typical Joker getup – clown makeup and his red and yellow suit.
The next scene showed Harley dressed as a ballerina and dancing with Joaquin in the moonlight, which turned into them dancing in the rain.
Other clips included Arthur running from people dressed as himself in the street and Harley and Joker kissing from a jail cell.
