Fans question ‘downgrade to arenas’
Lady Gaga fans have questioned why the Poker Face icon is “downgrading to arenas” after playing sell-out stadiums in the UK and US on The Chromatica Ball tour in 2022.
One user wrote: “Gaga could easily do Wembley Stadium.. Chromatica ball was all statiums and this era is even bigger than Chromatica, I expect a full stadium run.”
Another posted: “o2 arena… she could do 5 UK shows in stadiums and they’d sell out entirely.”
This fan questioned the motives behind the move, writing: “A downgrade to arenas would be so underwhelming at this point in her career…”
However, a third user wrote: “Yall complaining about her ‘downgrading’ to arenas but just think that were potentially gonna get multiple dates in these cities and she clearly wants it to feel more intimate so she can get closer to the fans!”
In the UK, though, there are no further dates outside London and Manchester – and only one in the latter.
In the UK on The Chromatica Ball dates, Lady Gaga played two nights – July 29 and 30 – at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, where she is pictured below.
