Buisness mogul Kris Jenner has revealed she felt truly disturbed about her then-legal battle with Blac Chyna.

In Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashian,” the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner family, who has traditionally served as the agent for her children, said she felt “emotionally, physically, and spiritually” drained by the trial.

Chyna filed a claim against the Kardashian family in 2017, alleging that they used their influence to force E! to cancel her show “Rob and Chyna” with her ex-partner Rob Kardashian. She claimed this cost her millions of dollars in appearance and social media promotions.

The Kardashian-Jenner family ultimately prevailed in the lawsuit. After the trial, Kris said she was relieved it was all over.

In the latest episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kris was seen spending time with her youngest daughter, Kylie Jenner, who recently welcomed her second child and first son with her partner Travis Scott.

Later in a confessional, she shared that her worries about her then-legal battle against her son’s ex prevented her from truly enjoying the bonding moment with her daughter and the new babe.

“It’s always so special spending time with Kylie, but we also have this trial looming over our head,” Kris said in the episode that aired on Thursday, per People.

She added: “Blac Chyna is suing myself, Khloé [Kardashian], Kylie, and Kim [Kardashian] for defamation of character and interference of character. “As a mom, I’m very protective of my kids, and on top of that, it’s really draining,” she continued. “It’s emotionally, physically, and spiritually exhausting to be going through this.”

Despite the apparent toll the litigation has had on her, the 66-year-old said she intends to put it out of her mind so she can enjoy her time with her daughter.

The animosity between artist Blac Chyna and the Kardashian- Jenner family began in the early 2010s. However, it worsened after the model and pro makeup artist started dating Rob in 2016. During the period of their relationship, the reality TV show “Rob & Chyna” premiered on E!

Its second season was canceled following their split, which led to Black Chyna suing the Kardashian-Jenner family in 2017 for allegedly using their ties to E! to get the show axed. The model argued at the time that she missed out on millions of earned dollars from related appearances and social media posts.

The suit read in part via Vice. “[They] made a number of false statements about [Chyna] to E! network executives and executive producers of Rob & Chyna, including that [Chyna] physically abused defendant Rob Kardashian.”

The Thursday episode of the “Kardashians” was filmed before the lawsuit was brought to court on April 2022. A week after, members of the jury reached a verdict that the Kardashian-Jenner family did not hamper the mother of two’s career, and as a result, Chyna was awarded no monetary damages.

“I think the case was very clear-cut. The jury got it,” Kardashian-Jenner family attorney Michael Rhodes said in a statement after the verdict, per E!. “I spoke to the family a minute ago, and they’re also very pleased.”

Chyna and all of the attorneys were there for the decision, whereas the Kardashian-Jenner family was absent, having opted to attend the Met Gala in New York. Chyna’s attorney Lynne Ciani said at the time that her client intended to challenge a portion of the judgment. The appeal hasn’t been submitted yet.

Kris Jenner Is ‘Glad It’s Over’

With the ruling ending in favor of the Kardashian-Jenner family, Kris was seen to be in high spirits when Variety caught up with her on the red carpet of the 2022 Met Gala. The momager expressed her joy at the jury’s decision to the magazine, saying she was relieved she would no longer be subjected to more emotional toll from it.

Kris identified the stress of the court proceedings in general as the “toughest part” of the trial before adding she was “glad it’s over.”

She continued by saying that she used prayer as a coping mechanism for the challenges. Kris said, “I live in my faith,” she said. “And just hope that that’s enough, and yeah. I’m glad it’s over, and I’m glad it’s over for the girls.”
