KPop Demon Hunters is coming to Netflix later this year!
The upcoming animated film centers on a group of K-pop stars who are also secretly demon hunters.
Here’s a synopsis: When they aren’t selling out stadiums, Kpop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey use their secret identities as badass demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. Together, they must face their biggest enemy yet – an irresistible rival boy band of demons in disguise.
The streamer just announced the cast of the upcoming film, as well as the K-pop collaborators, including a very popular girl group, and more.

Kpop Demon Hunters will feature original songs written by Danny Chung, IDO, Vince, KUSH, EJAE, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren, Mark Sonnenblick, Daniel Rojas, and produced by Teddy Park, 24, IDO, DOMINSUK, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk, Lindgren and Ian Eisendrath.
Among those performing the original music include EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav and Lea Salonga, as well as an original song by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung of TWICE!

“When I read for Mira, I really felt like the filmmakers had written an alternate version of me. What’s magical about animation as a medium is that all of these elements can be endlessly adjusted, then fused together to create an organic whole.”
