KIM Kardashian has been accused of “disrespecting” Aaliyah with her outfit at her 42nd birthday party.
The Kardashians star was slammed for “stealing” the late singer’s iconic silver bra and pants look for her trip to Las Vegas at the weekend.
Kim wore a diamante crop top and matching high-waisted trousers teamed with a thick silver choker.
Aaliyah – who died in a plane crash aged 22 in 2001 – wore the original version in her Try Again music video in 2000.
Critics blasted Kim for not acknowledging that her outfit was inspired by Aaliyah.
One wrote on Reddit: “Right like stop stealing other women’s iconic outfits lol.”
Another posted: “I knew this look seemed familiar. Can Kimmy do anything original??!”
“She didn’t even say it was based on Aaliyah, at least have the respect to do that!” a third raged.
Kim was previously slammed for dressing up as Aaliyah for Halloween in 2017, with critics accusing her of cultural appropriation.
She said in the wake of the backlash: “I saw online that some people thought my costume was in poor taste and I am truly sorry if that offended anyone, but I wasn’t dressing up as a race or culture but rather as a woman whom I admire.

Kim had planned to celebrate her birthday with dinner at Carbone and a trip to Las Vegas on a private jet to see Usher with her friends and family.
However, things took a disastrous turn when Kylie Jenner’s $72million jet was forced to make an emergency landing due to harsh weather conditions.
BIRTHDAY DISASTER
The birthday girl filmed the group as they went to In-N-Out to get burgers before heading back to Calabasas.
She said: “The plane couldn’t land due to the wind so it looks like our Carbone party and Usher concert isn’t happening and we are heading back home.”
The group then headed to a party bus, where they took Jello shots.
Meanwhile, fans have become concerned with Kim’s weight loss ever since she wore dropped 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s famous dress at the Met Gala.
In an interview with Vogue in May, Kim admitted: “I tried it on and it didn’t fit me. I said, ‘Give me three weeks.’ I had to lose 16 pounds.
“It was such a challenge. It was like a [movie] role … I haven’t had carbs or sugar in about three weeks,” she added.
WEIGHT LOSS
Kim continued to stick to the strict diet and fitness regime and revealed in June that she has lost 21 pounds.
Kourtney Kardashian, 43, has reportedly shared her concern over the thinning looks of her siblings.
While Kourtney has embraced her curvy female figure, a source close to her exclusively told The Sun U.S. that she reportedly thinks her sisters have gone too far with their skinny frames.
Kim has lost at least 21 pounds since the start of the summer, while Khloe Kardashian, 38, dropped 60 pounds over the past four years.
Unlike her sisters, Kourtney has gushed over her weight gain after undergoing her intense IVF treatments.
The Kardashian friend claimed: “Kourtney likes to point out that you can’t go near either Kim or Khloe mid-afternoon as they are both so hungry they snap at anyone.
“She is convinced that’s why both her sisters are single because no man can tolerate their strict daily plans and twice-a-day workouts.”
The insider continued: “She says neither one of them ever has fun because they are counting calories so much – she feels it’s impossible to ever be in a happy relationship like that.”
